The Unclean Beasts Made It

THE UNCLEAN BEASTS MADE IT

“And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of everything that creepeth upon the earth, there went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.”

In the book of Genesis, chapter 7 in the bible, the story is told of the entry into the ark by Noah and his family, who numbered a total of eight individuals and many, many animals, even those who were unclean. You may read something for many years, and yet it does not come home to you until a special and specific moment. Do you realize that unclean beasts were in the ark, and man was lost in the waters of the flood? How could that have happened? Only eight human beings, but loads and loads of animals?

Imagine Noah hearing and answering the call of God. God told him to build an ark because it was going to rain. Now Noah never saw rain before. A mist always came up and watered the earth. The key to Noah’s success was that He believed God. It didn’t matter to him that he had no idea what rain was. God said it was going to rain and he was willing to believe God, even if he did not understand what rain was.

So for 120 years, the man Noah, worked on the ark and preached to the people of his generation, “it is going to rain, get ready to come into the ark with me.” Of course, the people thought Noah had lost his mind. “What is rain?” This was something asked over and over by the gainsayers. When someone would want to believe Noah, they were deterred because they would be told, “Do you know how long Noah has been saying that?” He is crazy. Before I was born he has been preaching that message.

But one day, God said to Noah “Begin to put the beasts into the ark, the clean and the unclean.” The animals did not waver, they did not fight Noah, they obediently went into the ark. Just as Noah ordered them they moved in their numbers into the ark. God locked the door for Noah after all who were slated to go into the ark entered. So when it began to rain and people were crying for Noah to help them, he couldn’t God had taken that option away from him.

As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming of the end. Will you be locked out of the Ark when Jesus returns? Hear the message of salvation today and seek to enter before it is too late.
