ARE THERE ALIENS AMONG US?
From time to time we hear or read reports of sightings of aliens among us. So many movie makers have made movies that depict aliens in our midst. In these movies, these alien beings can sometimes be seen with the naked eye; sometimes we can’t see them. Sometimes they invade human beings, sometimes they invade animals. Sometimes they are friendly, sometimes they are aggressive and ready to do harm to the people they encounter. Is this really so? Or is this just the active imaginations of screenwriters and authors.
The bible shows us that there are aliens among us. However, these aliens are not the kind you are accustomed to seeing in a movie. These aliens were not made to inhabit the earth as man was. They were somewhere else other than earth. But disobedience, envy, jealousy, and the need for control and power caused them to be thrown to earth.
Let us consider the following scriptures:
Rev 12:7 “And
there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and
the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
So we see there are indeed aliens in our midst. Satan was once an angel of light and he lived in heaven. Yet way back in the beginning he began to strive for power. Whenever God said something, he contradicted God. God in the Garden of Eden gave instructions as to what man could eat and touch. Yet Satan went to Eve in the garden instructing her to do other than what God said. He caused the first murder back in the beginning. Contradicting God was his mission and it still continues to be. He lives to contradict whatever God says. He is trying to outdo God in amassing individuals to serve and honour Him.
Satan did not come by himself. He brought his angels with him. They are very good at doing the will of their father, the devil. They are also very good at persuading humans that will listen to them to do the will of the devil too. This is why Jesus at one time told the Jews in St John 8:44 “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
These Jews did not want to listen to or do the will of God as told to them by Christ Jesus. So Jesus had to point out to them that they were listening to and obeying the devil. These alien beings are doing all they can to convince humans to disobey God. They are very subtle in their operations just as how the movies depict aliens to be subtle. You do not even know that they are aliens sometimes. Similarly, Satan and the aliens he brought with him are subtly; showing you ways to go against the will of God. The sad part is that what they tell you to do seems to be alright because most people are doing these same things and many people have been doing them for ages. These aliens are doing their work very quickly because they realize that they have but a short time to do a great deal of work.
